What are the Pros and Cons about Not to Legalize the Red Light-Districts:

Advantages:
First, without the prostitute district, the blocks of city can be clean and open. Parents don’t afraid their children will ask them what the prostitute district is, or feel embarrassing when take children to pass by the erotic area.
Second, the rate of crime can be decreased. According to the mayor of Dutch, the prostitute district in Amsterdam only increases the rate of sexual crime. Every mafia wants to gain some profit from the prostitute district, such as selling controlled drugs or abusing prostitutes. Forbidding set up the prostitute district can avoid sexual intercourse being controlled by the mafia.
Third, teaching people to respect every one’s body. In the prostitute district, people can buy everyone if he or she has enough money. People may look prostitutes as things but not human being.

Disadvantages:
First, no place can provide people to solve his or her physiological need. When people can’t fulfill their need, they may cause sex offense. The prostitute district can provide people a legal place and way to solve their problem.
Second, the government can’t protect and manage the prostitutes. If the prostitute district is illegal, the government can’t force the prostitutes to do health examination and can’t register their names and health conditions. Moreover, if district is illegal, the prostitute will tend to keep silent if mafia or other people hurt them.
Third, it is depriving the people’s last method to live. Some people may have no choice but use their body to earn money. Without the legal prostitute district, they also lose the way to make money, and their situation may become worse.
